This store opened in 1916 after campaigning by the local residents for a convenience store on their doorstep.This store immediately took off and the residents of the village were extremely proud of their own little convenience store.
This increased the business and continued to grow into a very profitable branch of the Society.Today Timsbury is still the success story it was over 90 years ago.The store is situated on the main road through the village and beats competition from another convenience store in the same location. The community spirit found at Radstock co-operative society speaks for itself in terms of customers visiting this village store.
